The Benefits of Dating Younger Men

It’s becoming more and more common for older women or “cougars” (who the heck came up with that term) to date younger men. While older women should still avoid the men who are young enough to be without a clue and are entirely ruled by their hormones, there is something to be said for dating a man who is younger than you are.
Younger men aren’t so set in their ways. As we get older, we become more defined by our habits. It can be pretty difficult to meet someone of the same age who doesn’t have their own habits to work around. Younger people are more flexible in this area because they haven’t accumulated the same amount of years of devotion to some habits. This includes the area of sexual relations.
Speaking of sexual relations, younger men are still willing to learn and explore. When women get beyond a certain age, there is a tendency to lose that shyness that exists in young womanhood. While men in their 20s and 30s may not really know what they are doing yet, they are more willing to learn what you like and aren’t offended when you offer up suggestions.
There is a certain lack of cynicism. It’s not hard to become cynical with age. The past often dictates how we see people and the future itself. And then too, cynicism is eventually replaced with a certain level of acceptance that things just are the way they are. Younger men tend to be more upbeat because they’re still developing those experiences that bring us to cynicism. This also means that they are more willing to go out and do things or bring fresh ideas to the table.
Most women tend to want to date men that are older than them. But, at some point, those same men that once seemed so stable tend to become rigid in their thinking. That’s not to say that older men have nothing to offer. It simply means that as you age, it may be time to expand your horizons instead of narrowing them down.
